We are posting members show points updated at least monthly in 2010 season to keep you up to date

Posting the points to this site will insure fairness, trust and accuracy for our AHSA  members by being able to review their points

Changes are necessary to prevent any conflict in award accuracy for the future on AHSA. All show points will be listed on the website for member review.

I will be posting the classes as I copy them directly from spreadsheets that the 2009 High Point Registrar created.

The High Point registrar for 2009 verified all points.

Only Division 2,3,5 and 7 were verified by the Breed Directors. Final Points for Divisions 1, 4 and 6 were not submitted to the Breed Directors prior to the awards.

Numerous complaints by members, board members were made during 2009 concerning the refusal of being provided individual points and class nominations information.

For the first time in AHSA history a horse was presented with a High Point Championship in 2009 that never earned a single  AHSA  point.

The owner verified this when they were contacted to pick up the award after the banquet. The horse was awarded points for a show the horse nor owner ever entered. The show entry and results sheets confirm the horse was not at the show.

In another class, by the final point tally verified and present to the AHSA board on Jan 16th 2010, a juvenile class the championship award was presented to the horse that had eight less points than the Reserve Champion.

The new website system of complete open access to points and nominations will prevent these mistakes to promote trust and fairness.
